With the grounds and various buildings available for hire, Howick Historical Village provides a beautiful backdrop for weddings, photo-shoots, naming ceremonies, funerals, corporate meetings, filming, family gatherings and other functions.

Bell House This historic house is a perfect venue for your wedding, naming ceremony, photoshoots, filming, family event, funerals, meetings and other functions. With its own private entrance, French doors that open out to a large verandah which flow onto a private lawn this homestead provides a stunning space for your special day.

Access to the Village with its historic gardens and buildings set over 7 acres, there is the perfect, unique spot for your wedding photos.

Bell house has a large modern kitchen and toilets. Functions at Bell House can be self-catered or we can provide a wedding package or daily delegate package for your meeting or conference.

Historic Church The church was built in 1852 and has painted white walls and wooden pews, making it ideal for weddings and other ceremonies.

Buildings & Grounds The grassed areas throughout the village provide a peaceful atmosphere for weddings, photographs and other functions, the pond and rustic cottages providing a lovely backdrop.

Brindle Cottage Built in 1852, the small cottage consists of one open "L"- shaped room, a connecting room, and a small kitchen. The cottage's structure provides a practical space for birthday parties and other social events.

Pakuranga School Pakuranga School was built in 1880 soon after education became secular, compulsory, and government funded.

A full kitchen is available for use by all user groups, making the large hall suitable for workshops, exhibitions, and other functions. There is also a restroom inside the building.
